I had the SAME problem. The doctor told me to make sure he was going to bed with a dry diaper and a full belly, that way I knew that nothing was wrong. Then if he woke up crying, to let him cry. It was REALLY hard to just let him cry. I was still using a monitor to hear him so I even had to turn it off to not hear him cry, but after about 3-4 days of him waking up and crying himself back to sleep after I did not come in the room...he slept through the night! If she cries for more than 20 minutes then I would go in and make sure she is ok (diaper is ok and whatnot). Then calmly tell her it is time to go back to sleep, give hugs and kisses and leave the room. She will probably cry, but not for long. You will be suprised at how in a few days she will sleep through the night!

It' gonna be hard, my son went through the same thing. You might want to get her a "big girl bed" and let her know that it's just like mommy's and daddy's bed, or you just have to keep getting up to put her in her own bed, with a piece of you clothing that has yours or your husbands sent on it, and the night she actually stays in bed, reward her for it.

You just need to be consistent and persisent. Maybe get her a CD of music or people noises (heartbeat/breathing). A room can be quiet and lonely if you are used to sleeping in someone else's room.
