I recently decided that I would like to have some friends in similar situations as myself but since I am a stay at home mom I have no idea how to go about it. Making new friends isn't easy in the first place, especially when the people you see most are your kids. Any thoughts?

Toddler groups are a great way of meeting new people. They are held in alot of schools and church halls and most of them are free 2! U will find ur kidz will enjoy this just as much as u! x x

Take your child to a playgym (in Australia we have indoor areas with ballpits and jumping castles etc). There are always mums there and (as you probably know) every mum loves to talk about their child. Heaps of my friendships have started that way!

I got to know my neigbors. and branched out from there. you can go to your local church (if you go) go onton craigs list and look for play dates, or even going to places that kids around your kids ages would play and just start talking.
