I saw on a tv show that to get them to eat veggies you take a small amount and blend it in the blender and add it to sauces like tomato sauce.  Or you can try those fruit source bars that have veggies in them as well but just taste like fruit or the juices that have veggies in them.

you can make smoothies. i make them in a blender with milk, yogurt, fruit, and spinich. i always keep bags of frozen fruit for them. and i make them for the kids' friend when they come over and don't tell them whats in it until they try it. it's a good way to sneak in the good stuff with the good tasting stuff. you can put almost anything in it and it'll taste good. some things like strawberries and bananas have a stronger flavor and take over so you can't taste the others. it's the only way that anyone in my house will ever eat spinich.

Quoting Emily:

Try all kinds of different ones! And definetely let her help you prepare them! Just don't give up! My 4 yr old just started eating broccoli (w/out chz) and cooked spinach! Maybe even let her pick  out veggies or let her pick out the salad dressing at the store! Let her eat tomatoes like apples and have some fun with it! Lots of luck!!

Thats a good idea, let them help you shop and pick pu tthings they would like to try.

I would try making it look fun...like into happy faces, or ike veggy cabobs...i also sneak it into food without that noticing, like into spaghetti sauce works great, you can even blend it first so it is unnoticable! and you can put pureed ones into anything even muffins! ive snuck spinach into mashed potatoes and salads, and sauces You can try making a veggy soup, or serving them raw with dips, or if all fails buy that fuit juice with added veggies, its 100% pure and taste good! i drink it.

the funny thing is that my daughter absolutely loves cheese... in any form but i have tried melting cheese on all the veggies and she still wont eat them... but thanks for the advise...

I agree with Jamie... melted cheese on anything is apealing to kids lol... mine never had any problems and actually got mad at me for putting cheese on the veggies but my nephew hates them... i just melted cheese on them and he ate them.

A trick I used with my kids was to put cheese on them. Most kids love cheese, just sprinkle it on and melt it. Or try mixing it in with Macaroni and Cheese or mashed potatoes. My brother hated veggies growing up, my mom would make peel and cut potatoes and then take a veggie peeler then peal a carrot or other root veggie into the potatoes as they cooked, once mashed you didnt know they were in there.   My son likes corn on the cob too, he calls it popcorn. To them its something neat to eat since they get to pick it up and take a big bite. But by far the cheese thing worked the best.
