I clean my daughters bottles with a bottle brush and regular dish soap. Does anyone accually boil their bottles everytime? Does anyone use special soap to clean the bottle? Im looking for tips and ideas.

i use the bottles that dont have drop ins so i wash the bottle, ring and bottom part (screws off) in hot soapy water. the nipples, caps, and the other bottom part i boil everyday. with my first son i did the same and the nipples were always fine. i also boil any soothers. everyone does things differenty. i personally feel that the nipples and caps should be boiled often.

HOT HOT water and dish soap. I do rinse the nipples with really hot water before letting them soak in the water. And afterwards, I do still sterilize my son's bottles since he is only 4 months.

I washed my son's bottles with hot water and regular dish soap. I did try to buy the dish soap free of dyes and perfumes, but I used the regular ones as well. I didn't boil my bottles or the nipples because the packaging on the bottles said to only boil it before using it for the first time. It said that boiling it could deteriorate the plastics. Do what you feel is best. Hope this helps :)

I just followed the instructions on the package from the bottles. I just use dish soap and warm when I wash dishes. I also boil the nipples once a week, I think boiling bottles was only when bottles were made of glass. not sure though. I remember reading in a book that most moms will go through all the "sterile" procedures with their first child and by the third child, they do the minimum when it comes to I tink that if you decide not to boil cirtain parts of the bottle everyday, you will still be ok.
