how do you manage negativity

I keep finding myself complaining about things. When im in conversation mode i start doing it. I know about counting my blessings and gratitude but what else is there to combat this bad habit. Please dont be rude im sure there are other people who would find this info valuable. Thanks :)

Hey steph!
Thats such a great idea! I love doing yoga but dont always have time. I can however grab a notebook while im breastfeeding and write... maybe i can get an app on my phone even. I appreciate it!

I have a spiral note book I wright everything down in that upsets me and then come back and look at it at the end of the week, If its something that can be fixed like my husband can take out the trash I will talk to him, if its something like how bad the nurse treated me at my last appointment I just chalk it up to emotions and scratch it out.

Also some times I will call a friend and say I just need to complain can you listen and we talk out the drama that has been going on.
