How far apart are your kids?

So my oldest two are 10 months and 2 days apart. I know that's really close, but I ALWAYS get the flabergasted faces when I tell people. Am I the only one who didn't exactly "obey" the 6 week rule?

I have an 8 1/2 month old and I'm DYING to start again! The only thing keeping me from already being pregnant is that my brother and good friend are both getting married about ten months from now and I don't want either a due date or a newborn for the weddings (one is three states away, and the other I'm the maid of honor in).
The big thing that kept us from getting pregnant again right away was that I wanted to be back in shape before starting down the pregnant road again. I told me husband that when I could fit into my old pants we would be back at square one and could start.
Now, we are just holding on 'till February!!

I have a set of two and a half year old b/g twins and an almost five month old son. They are 25 months and 4 days apart. He was a surprise as I was on the pill when we conceived him, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

The next one we are going to wait until our youngest is three before we conceive because I had a rough pregnancy with my youngest while caring for the twins. So if all works out by the time I have our last child ( or children) The twins will almost be six, and our youngest will almost be four.

My two are 27 months apart. I love it. We're trying now for baby #3 and he/she would also be 27 months apart.

To your question about the "6 week rule:" During my vaginal birth my daughter had shoulder dysplasia and I was torn open from top to bottom (stitches all the way into the rectum) so that was not a rule I was willing to break.

My oldest will be 7 this month. My oldest daughter is 4. My middle daughter will be 3 in Feb and my youngest will be 2 in Jan. They are really close and I always get asked if they're twins, when it's obvious my 3 yr old is slightly bigger, but oh well! Lol. I didn't obey that rule either and I don't think it's really a rule, more of a precaution. Forget the looks, it's your life and as long as you were healthy and they are too than who the f cares! Lol

My oldest is 7 and my little one is 5 months...I was a single mother after my daughter was born so that id why the age gap is so big. I do want to have in more soon. I was thinking about trying again after my son turns one but I am a little nervous to have them so close together. It seems overwhelming!

Mine are 22 months apart. I had a hard time with baby blues after my first. It was perfect timing for my husband and I.

Mine are 15months and 1 day apart. I wouldn't have had it any other way, even though our second child was a surprise!

no im there with you Chrissy. My eldest is 3 in oct, my son is 2 in two weeks and my youngest will be 1 in sep. I always get looked and when people see me walking around with my 3 kids, guess it doesnt help im only 24 lol. My 2 older children are only so close because my son was born 3mths early. Ild admit its hard and tiring, but i love it and wouldnt change a thing!
