we are having a hard time getting her used going to the potty on her own. She will do it for a while and then she just gets back to going in her pull-up and pooping in the potty is out of the que! I need some advice please or some encouragment!

I also agree with the underwear over pull ups. Pull ups are just like diapers. If she wets herself in underwear, it will be uncomfortable and she won't like it. My daughter was potty trained b4 2 and I had a hard time until someone told me to just bite the bullet and put her in panties. Good thing my entire house was tile. After that, it only took a few days. My son was not that easy. Sometimes they're just not ready. When he wouldn't potty train, we took a break for a couple months and came back to it. He didnt't potty train until he was 3. Good luck

I agree with not putting her in a pull up. That gets confusing, try underwear with extra padding in it (its almost like a cloth diaper, but underwear). My boys all used these and I had all three of them potty trained by 18 months and I've heard boys are harder to potty train than girls so good luck!

cold shower OMG.... but anyways i worked in a daycare and this is what the teachers of the 2-3 year olds would tell the moms if they was having the problem to go get ya a cooking timer (set it for 30 mins) but each time that timer goes off take her to the potty and then as she keeps doing it and she hears the timer go off she will know shes suppose to go do something, (alot of moms told us it worked)

Take 3 days out of your life, plan on staying home and then rent a carpet cleaner. Stay home and let her be nude for 3 days. Offer treats for potty in the toliet and an extra incentive for poop. We used mm or skittles and a sucker for poop. If she doesn't have any other options she will put it all in the potty :-) I also put a small potty in the living room with a pack of wipes so that if she forgets the potty is not very far away. Try that, good luck!!!

Well I had that problem I had tried everything from letting him sit in it went pants to bribing to putting pullup none of it worked..so I went to the store bought underwear and everytime he had an accident I put him in the cold shower it was the only thing that worked..don't bribe eventually you'll have to stop it n they might act out...praising is cheap and easy to give it helps them feel good bout what they are doin..best of luck n hope it was helpful.
