I think having them back-to-back is much easier and smarter! I had my two kids 11 months apart. My daughter just made 3 on April 18th, and my son turned 2 a month ago on March 8th. I think it would've been hard if my daughter was already 2 or 3. The transition from diapers to the potty is easy due to both of them being interested around the same time. I am now 25 years old.

I was 18 when I had my first son.. young yes but I knew i wanted to be a mom since I was 5. being a mom a teacher and a wife thats what i dreamed of. my second son came two years later when I was 20. my third child, my daughter was a surprise(wasnt planned) and she came a year after my second son. I am 22 have a 4yr old, 2 yr old and a 1yr old. Sure I get looks soemtimes and comments like I have my hands full but I ingnore those people. I am a great mom have tons of patience and energy to keep up with them. My bf and I will enjoy our older years not having t deal with babies or teenagers(love that)

I was 20 when my first was born, my second was born 1yr 8months later to the day (I was still 21). We're actually pushing to get my second into school this coming fall so that they are only one year apart in school.

I had my first at 18 she was born sept 2000 and my second was born dec 2003 they are 3 yrs and 3 months apart it is a great age difference because my daughter was able to understand that the baby needed things to be done for him that was a big stress reliever. I was 22 yrs old the day before my son was born. They are 9 and 6 now and I still love the age difference they are able to play together and i still had time with each of them as babies and it was a great joy!!!

i had my son and had my daughter when my son was 2 months shy of 3. I think I did the good thing for waiting cause my son was potty trained and was gentle, old enough to help and understand. If I have another im waiting until my daughter turns 2 so it should be fine again.....

I had my daughter in January 2007 (I was 21) and my son was born March 2009 (when I was 23). I wanted my children close together in age so that maybe they would get along a little better due to the fact that they are so close in age. When they are older, maybe they will have some of the same friends and will also be able to look out for eachother because they will be, for the most part, attending the same school. Of course I want them to be independent of eachother in the sense that they do their own activities and have their own interests, but I also hope that they are close enough together in age to share some of the same interests and/or activities. I just want them to be able to have a good, relatable relationship. Family is so important! I was trying to look ahead when I decided to have my children. I was thinking about their future and me and my boyfriend's. I figure if I have my children fairly young, when they are older and on their own, I'll still be young enough to have time to do the stuff I want to do. My boyfriend and I will be young enough still to travel and and what not and really enjoy our time together.

My first just turned 10 months old and I am due in 3 weeks, so they will be less than 11 months apart. It wasn't intentional, but it will be interesting. I had just turned 27 when Liam was born and won't turn 28 until after this one is born.

my first 2 were 18mths and the 3 was 16 months from the 2nd. So there was 3 under 3. The best part was i got to nap with each pregnancy that helped out alot its a little busy at first but I would defenitly do it again that way.
