How long did it take to get back to your prebaby weight?

I'm not a very big person and I felt highly uncomfortable at my final pregnancy weight (159) and I'm feeling like I'm losing the post baby weight too quickly, whats a safe rate to be losing weight. I'm not even two weeks post birth and I'm already down to 135. I was 122 when I got pregnant.

I lost my weight really quickly too. So much was just water retension. Also if you are breastfeeding, you lose the weight quicker too. If causes contrations in your uterus and it gets smaller faster.

As long as you are taking care of yourself, you aren't losing it too quickly. You usually lose the better part of your weigh gain in the first few weeks because not only do you lose your babies birth weight, but you also lose all the water you retained, placenta, etc. Then all you are left with is the actual fat you accumulated from eating for two! The day I gave birth i was 51 lbs above my normal weight, and 2 days after I had him I had lost the exact same amount as you. Be thankful you are losing weight now, cuz I am 5 months post partum and still hanging on to 6 extra pounds, and they aren't gonna come off without a fight!!

i lost over how much i weighed prepregnancy due to post pardum depression, but now thats over with i am over my pre prego weight LOL ... ur not losing to quickly just eat healthy and rest as much as possible ... most of ur prego weight is water and baby and extra blood etc so when the baby comes you drop a good 20lbs...
