I have terrible stretch marks from my little ones. But I keep telling myself that even without them I probably wouldn't be able to look the same as I did before my pregnancies. I do miss my old body though. Wouldn't it be nice to go through pregnancy without the battle scars. :)

Hi, I have a 2 year old son and I am currently 34 weeks pregnant with my second. Since day 1 of my 2nd I have taken a picture each week to post on my facebook and to have as memory since we are only having 2. Eventually I started lifting my shirt up because I was begingin to get bigger and was just so proud. After a negative comment on my one photo I got really down and out about it until I talked to my fiance and of course he cheered me up. The sad thing was some comments were even coming from my family members, me personally I don't think my stretch marks are horrible! But anywhoo after hearing those negative comments, for my next week photos I posed kinda cute and edited my picture with some smart comments to get back and say hey screw you I LOVE my belly and my stretch marks. Stretch marks will fade. I honestly don't give two craps what anyone thinks of my stretch marks :) I got the better end of the deal and that's what is important to me! :)

the whole part of my abdomon under my belly button is a spider web of stretch marks. They don't bother me. But what I miss is a flat stomach. Every one has different opinions on what is the most beautiful part of the body...I think a flat stomach is beautiful, not necessarily a 6 or 8 pack or anything, but a flat firm belly.

I got stretch marks on my inner thighs, stomach, breasts, and hips. The ones on my hips have been stretched twice and so the blue wein there is really bright. I call them my neon stretch marks. lol. Sometimes I miss my pre-prego body but having my babies gave me a nice rear end! However I went from being between a B and C cup to between a B and A after wards. Thats the part that sucks.

I had a horrible self image before I got pregnant but now looking back I was soooo skinny! I am 5'9" 5'10"ish and was 128 when I weighed myself when I found out I was pregnant (almost 6 weeks)was in size 3 or 5 jeans.....I gained a lot of weight during the pregnancy....but now am about 150...and wear size 9 or 11....AND I'm 11 weeks pregnant and gaining fast! :( I hope I can lose this weight fast....but atleast I'm starting to get my baby bumb back anddont have to worry about the little gut I had :)I was lucky nd didn't get anyy stretch marks on my stomach...I did get them on my boobs and butt though but they're barely noticeable.....I hope they don't get worse this time around!

I thought I was fat before at 5'6 and 115-120 lbs, size 3 pants, XS to S shirts, now I'm a size 7, 9, or 11, and wear medium to large shirts weighing in at 142 lbs. Which is technically a healthy weight for me, but I don't like it one bit. And I have stretchmarks but they're white so you can barely see them.

you have no idea how relieved i am that i'm not the only one who despises them!! i got some with my first pregnancy, not many only little tiny ones. then i gave birth and got pregnant 6 months later and now I'm 6 months pregnant and my stretch marks are getting bigger :( Bio oil does improve your skin and helps to prevent them *as much as possible but since they are in the dermis not the epidermis it doesn't make much difference. It stops them itching but doesn't make them fully go away. I use any old moisturiser on my skin but I love using Nutrimetics nutri-rich oil or bio oil it helps so much with the itching.

After having a baby it takes work to get back your before baby body.In the Caribbean (Trinidad) we/most mothers ban their belly after having a baby (done with a cloth five to six inches wide placed on the tummy and tied at the back of you, mine went back down, but i have put on some size now, so exercise, eat healthy, that's the only way forward to the before baby body.

I have stretchmarks on my belly, hips and breasts. My skin is loose on my stomach. My baby is 10 months old and i am just starting to lose a significant amount of weight. My mother had 5 kids, the last two in her forties, and she never got one stretchmark. If it is hereditary, I got the wrong genes.

I was always hard on myself before i had my daughter and now i look back on my pictures and i cant believe how small i was. I got reallly bad stretch marks and now i look like i have a road map on my belly and sides. I hate them but my daughter was worth every mark and scar i have. I heard that bio oil help with the stretch marks and i'm going to start using it and see how it works.

I was always small and toned before I fell pregnant but I already had stretch marks on my hips from a growth spurt in my teens. I took that as a pretty good sign that I would end up with a ton of stretch marks from my pregnancy and I was spot on! I got more wider ones on my hips and my belly was covered with a million thin ones. I also got them on the tops of my thighs even though I didn't really gain enough weight in my thighs to warrant stretch marks there, I thought. I would definitely say its a hereditary thing. Post baby I lost all my weight and killed myself getting my six pack back but sitting on top of those muscles is saggy stretched granny skin. Needless to say, I cannot get away with a bikini anymore! I am now pregnant with my second and am thrilled that the pregnancy has filled that skin out again so at least I don't have to look at my wrinkly belly for a while! I don't know if skin that stretched ever regains its elasticity, I am hoping that given a few years it will improve at least a little.

I was very small before i got pregnant. I made it to 37 weeks with maybe 4 little marks on my sides, but the last 3 weeks i just keeped getting bigger and bigger and they appeared and by the time i had my son they were ugly n bad. I have been using bio oil thou to help fade. I did modeeling before hand but now im not so sure i wanna do it, as i am very self concious!

I have stretch marks from having my daughter. I do miss my pre-pregnancy body. I use to be a size 3 about 100 lbs. I am not now.

I was very fortunate with both my kids, I didn't get one stretchmark & I've had two kids but they say it is heridatary because my mum had 5 kids and didn't get any stretch marks and my two sisters have had kids & never got any either. I am thankful though, I used moisturiser all the time just incase but my mum said I had nothing to worry about.

I got pretty bad stretch marks on my belly and sides from my first. They didn't show up until I was about 30 weeks pregnant so I was thinking I might make it through without them...but no! I do miss my pre-pregnancy body. The one part I miss is my belly, now it looks like a deflated pouch! I hope that time will improve this but I am trying to appreciate the change in my body and hope to get into better shape than before my pregnancies.
