I always wanted 12 but after having my first three then getting married we are going for 6 we have 5 right now.

I have always wanted three. I currently have two that are 17 months apart, it can be very challenging at times. Thats what has me stumped about having the third. I also have to have c-sections, my hospital allows no v-bacs, so that really sinks. Its just very exhausting have a c-section and having to take care of little ones.  So, I don't know, maybe in another 2 1/2 yrs when my youngest is 4 I will take the leap. That way one will be in preschool and the other in kindergarden,  Who knows by then I may not want to go back to the baby stages. But, I am only 25, so it makes me sad to think I wouldn't have another one . Like Ashleigh said about a high needs baby, that was my first. Colic(absolutely horrible), no sleeping, now almost three and NEVER Don't know if I could handle another one of I admire those who have 3, 4, 5 and still want more. I need to know where one gets the energy!!!

Before my son was born I wanted 5 for sure, but now maybe 4 lol.  I am pregnant again, and am a bit scared ( I had horrible back labour for 2 days, and then my son had colic for the first 6 months of his life!!) My son is also very demanding, they call him a "high needs baby".   I think if this baby doesn't have colic etc. it would probably convience me to have more!!

After I had my first daughter in 2005,we new we would love more kids, but it happened so fast, and when my daughter was 11 months and 3 weeks old i had our second daughter. Then in September last year we had out third daughter.I am 21 and love being a mum,and i dont know how many children we will end up having,we are currently planning on our 4th right now,and we take each one as it comes! We may find we are comfortable with 4 and that will be it,or then decide we would love a 5th!!!!!Its something you will just feel deep down!I felt i wnted more right after i had given birth to each of them.We have sort of concluded that we will have no more when i give birth and i dont have that feeling aferwards!!!!

i scared the life out of my husband by saying "when can we have another one" abour 5 min after the birth but that may have been the gas and air talking! i would like to have 4 in total and my husband wants 2 so we will probably settle for 3

I have one and am debating having a second someday. I've always wanted two but after this one, I'm not so sure lol. I don't know if I can handle having another high needs baby (well, I would obviously deal if it happened but...) and there is no way to guarantee my second will be easier. My daughter is definitely a mini-me and I don't really want two of those running around!

I wanted to have a lot more as I always joked that I wanted to have 15 to outdo my greatgrandmother. I now have 2 and unfortunately I can only have another 3 or 4 more as I have to have c-sec. Am very sad about it but I feel truly blessed that I have two children when there are plenty of women who struggle to have one.

I would *die* to get pregnant and have a second child...but my husband isn't exactly on board with the idea. It's actually rather depressing to see a lot of my friends having their second or third child...and I can't convince my husband otherwise. Yes, I'm jealous of them. Yes, I can admit that. And yes...dammit I want another one. :(

I always said I wanted 2 kids. I still think that two is best because I don't think we could support having 3 (my husband has 3 all the together) but that doesn't change the fact that when I think about my baby growing up I'm not tempted. I love having a baby around.

This is a great question! I would love to have a dozen...but, my body probably couldn't handle it, my checkbook definitely wouldn't be able to handle it, and my husband would probably forbid it! LOL But God willing we will have 3-5 (we have two now)

I have always wanted 3 kids. After having my first i still wanted 3 but my husband only wanted two children. After the birth of our second son though last July i think i may be able to convince my hubby to have one more as i think like me he would like to try for a girl (not that it would be that disappointing to have another boy).

I want 3 children. Prefably another girl and a boy. My daughter is 16 months, and I wanted to start trying for number 2 after her second borthday, but now I think we might wait longer so that I can get my masters degree. I've always wanted at least 2 years between children and the first to be potty trained before the next came along. I think we'll wait until Savannah is about 4 and then we'll let the other 2 be closer in age. 3 is the limit though.

?! personally i wanted 4 asap! and by the time my 1st was 18mths id sadly had a miscariage, and happily a little girl. although it later became clear that my 1st was autistic (a disability) resulting in me being overstreched. my advice would be wait until the eldest is potty trained at least! or at even just wait until all the pregnancy hormones are out of your system and you can be certain,i think hormones are to blame 4 my madness and i probably would have waited longer if id done just that!! haha leeanne ;-)

Right after I had my son I was like NONE no more EVER! lol but that's just because I didn't enjoy pregnancy.. needless to say the birth wasn't that fun either. But now that's he's older and walking and all that I do want one more boy. Why do you ask?
