yes, im a little confused on this one, my partner has started a new job about 2 months ago. and works all hours so i never see him, i feel like a single mum, im ok with that doing this and that, but the fact is im not a single mum im supposed to be engaged to the father of my child Father! (IE father our child) i understand that he works and stuff, he loves his job and he gets time and and gets to have a laugh. but when he comes home it hits me, im not a single mum! he comes in goes on a computer and does naff all. i dropped a big hint earlier that i was doing NOTHING i not been feeling well he doesnt do much to help. last night i asked him to do 3 things got up this and he hadnt done one of them, so i say YES MUCH EASIER TO DO IT OURSELF. but the fact is, we sud be able to rely on them and they shud have to do it with out us nagging them they she see we nee help before we get to the stage that were breaking down.

sorry to waffle i feeel a lil better lol.
but yes i feel its easier without relying in him bcz he doesnt get up with her he doesnt feed her, he will give her a little love and mayb decide to change a nappy every now then. but thas about it,

It seems like the days my husband is home things are more stressful around the house. My husband loves spending time with the kids and he's a great dad...but when I'm at home with the two girls by myself, things just flow easier with our routine.

Hi there:) Sometimes its much much easier. I hate being or feeling dependant on anyone! However, as a single parent, it would be nice to have a man or partner that would be helpful and take the load off every now and then. I guess it just depends on whether or not you have a good community around you or not to help and be supportive.
