my daughter is 3 months and they told me at 2 months she could have up to a teaspoon and a half but after one dose I knew that was WAY too much for her. So now I give her 1/4 - 1/2 of a teaspoon depending on how her stools are and how often she's having bowel movements.

With a baby that small most pharmacists would get you to talk to a doctor or get you to use infant glycerin suppositories...or at least that what they tell the patients that come into the pharmacy I work at! hope that helps!
