How much sleep does your 2-3 year old get? My ds sleeps from around 8:30 p.m. til 7 a.m., I give him a drink and he goes back to sleep til 8:30-9:00 a.m. then he takes a 1 1/2 -2 hr nap. So thats around 14 hrs of sleep a day. What about yours?

Our daughter typically sleeps around 10-12 hours at night and naps 3-4 hours during the day...she is only 16 mos though & has been a great sleeper from the beginning!

Hi ther my son will be 2 in November and his bedtime is 7:00pm he goes right to sleep no fussing or anything and he will wake up at 8:00am. Then he goes down for a nap around 12 and wakes up around 2ish. My daughter is 4 in a half and she goes to bed at 7:00 also but it takes her a few mins to unwind (she hates going to bed lol) and she wakes up at 7:00. She refuses to take a nap unless she was playing outside all day.

My son (turned 2 in Feb) sleeps 10pm-8am (10 hours a night) and takes a 2-3 hour nap during the day. So grand total of 12-13 hours of sleep a day.

just pick him up and carry him back every time it might take some time but hell get the message in the end. Stick with it though it will work if you are consistant.

my girls, who are 2 ( 3 in august) and 4, both go to bed at 7.15pm, asleep by 7.30, and then usually wake around 6.45 - 7am. My youngest usually sleeps from around 10.30 - 11.30 am, but over the last couple of months, she's been fighting against the daytime nap, and today, didnt nap at all, so i think my hours peace in the morning has now been shattered permanently!!!

Wow! My son turned 4 April 1st and we put him in the bed at about 9 or 9 30 and he might go to sleep around 11 and wakes up every single night without fail and comes in our room with my husband and I. I thought he might have started this just because I had a baby in October and he sleeps in our room too, but now he's almost 6 months old and my 4 yr old still comes in there every night. My husband says I am gonna miss it when he no longer does this, but I'm not so sure. lol. I just wonder if anyone else has or had this prob and what did you do?

mine sleeps 8pm to 7am then takes a nap 1-3. Pediatricians say they should get 13-15 hours of sleep. Remember they are always on the go and always growing!

woot I remember my son was the same as yours and he still sleeps well at almost 8...my daughter whos 3 next week she hates to go to bed and when she does (at 830) i hear her chatting away to herself till about 10 pm then she will wake at about 6 or 7 and she rarely sleeps during the day. Then theres the baby whos 2 next week and she is my midnight rocker, i put her to bed at 830 and she sleeps instantly, by 4 am shes wide eyed and bushy tailed, so i tried putting her to bed a little later than the others but it made no difference....she has an hours sleep during the day most days and if she doesnt she sleeps even less.....I wish they were all like my boy when it came to sleeping hahah

My son sleeps each night from about 8:00p.m. till about 6:30 or 7:00a.m and takes a good 2 hour nap each day. He will be 3 in Aug. My daughter, on the other hand, sleeps from about 9:00 p.m. until about 5:30a.m. and rarely takes a nap (although she needs one and become a bear in the late afternoon). She was 4 in Feb.
