I give my son baby yum yums, they melt and don't break off easily. I tried giving him arrowroot cookies this weekend and an empty ice cream cone but he tried to shove it all into his mouth and started to choke....so we'll wait a bit for those!!!!

Stick with the baby yum yum.rusk things, they melt and aren't a choking hazard unless they put big pieces in and try to swallow right away

i hated teethin biscuits and thought they were dangerous my inlaws started giving my daughter them at like 7 or 8 months old when ever we would visit and my daughter would choke every time (scared me soo bad) as soon as those things start to get soggy big piece break off and they can easily choke. if u give ur child them be careful and watch closely

my daughter was 6 months when i started giving them to her. i only gave her the teething rusks at that age though as they don't break off pieces, and the bits she could gnaw off were small enough to swallow. make sure your baby is sitting up in a high chair when chewing on teething rucks. i think it also depends on when your baby started solids too. my baby was 4 months when she started solid, so by 6 months was used to a bit of food in her mouth

Speaking of Rusks i just saw some of those in the store yesterday lol I was thinking bout buying them but i was scared he would choke. but since u told me that, that reassures me that i could do so. I started my baby at 4 months as well. So im gonna buy some of those and see how it goes. Thank you!

Thanks guys, I was just wondering if my son was too young for them. He's bout to be 6 months, and he's teething. I didn't want to give it to him because they dissolve and i didnt want him to choke on the little pieces seeing as tho he can't chew yet.

Apparently i'm slow, but i never gave those biscuits until my girls were 9 months or over! We stuck to teething toys for them to chew on.
