The place I work at does vasectomy reversals. You should check with your insurance company and see how much they would cover, and how much you would be responsible for out of pocket. We require a $100 upfront payment, but I highly recommend discussing it with your insurance company. If you do not have insurance, you should talk to whoever does the billing in the office you plan on going to, and see if they can work out some type of payment arrangements with you. Most doctors will be willing to help with giving the option for payments, some might not be so kind as to do so, and want it all up front, but it really depends on who you go to. I haven't had any experience with this with my spouse so I can't help you there, but I hope the other information helps you out. Good luck!

Hey Charlotte, I live in Raleigh, NC. Not sure where abouts you live, but the practice I work for is great! One of our doctors is almost famous for his work with infertility and vasectomy's as well as vasectomy reversals. People come from all over to see him, he's just awesome at what he does!

I know, my husband and I have talk about a reversale. My husband and I have three boys, and my last child was 2 yrs ago. No girl, and now all I think about is what if we got this reversed and tried for a girl, I am only 29. We looked up the info and it can cost as much as 6,000.00 out of pocket, wish I would of thought about that at the time he had the visectomy. I love my boys so much but ,sometimes I feel like somthing is missing. If you find a diff quote please let me know, thanks Kasey
