How to be a single mom while starting over?

I am a young, single mother of a 2 year old and I am wanting to start over but I am terrified to do so. I am coming out of a military dependent marriage that I have been in for three years. I do not have any family to go back to. I have a few friends in my hometown but the place where I am from is not a place I would want to go back to as there is no opportunities for me and there is horrible schools there for my daughter. I plan to go to continue college and I am currently searching for Universities with my major. I plan to find a city that is safe, offers my degree, and comfortable. I have never done this before in my life and I am stressed. How do I work to support me and my daughter and go to school all by myself? I am going to a completely new place and I am completely on my own. has anyone else ever done this or been in this situation? If so, what was your experience?

Please help! Any advice will help!

Hi there. I understand how you feel. It can be hard and a little stressful and sometimes scary to start over and be on your own. But you can do it!!!! I just took each step at a time...don't get too stressed and forget that it will be okay soon and will get better with a little time and some effort. set a goal for each day or week for all the things you have to do to make the transition and look at your child and remind yourself that its for the best future for you both and will be worth it.
