Some babies are just early birds and he is only 6 weeks old. Give it time, they will be changing sleep schedules often, especially when teething comes along. My son woke up early for the first 6 months or so then he started waking up at about 839 once he got into a pattern and was older. He's now 18 months and he doesn't wake until 830 sometimes 9.

Thanks Megan a lot of pointers there I feed Donagh (dun-a) every 4 hours, might make it every 3 1/2 hours instead, will give him more waking time so will hopefully be more tired at night
