My daughter is 6 weeks old and she would fall asleep in our arms and sleep in our bed, however when I try her in her bassinet she wont sleep instead she cries. She do not like to be swaddled, we tried giving her a bath a massaging her but none of that helps her sleep in her bassinet.

I got my baby boy to sleep by making sure the room was always dark, so transitioning to night time sleep time later on wasn't as difficult and it worked wonderful. One thing you might be able to try is some very calm lullabies and putting her in a blanket that just came out of the dryer. Maybe it is the light, maybe it is the warmth, maybe it is just too calm? Those 3 things worked for me, keep trying you will find what works. Good luck.

I had the same problem with my daughter when she was that age. She could fall asleep anywhere, but the second I put her in her bassinet, she would cry. The only thing I remember doing is having the basinet right beside my bed (as close as I could get it) and putting a couple of extra blankets at the bottom of her basinet so she was more cozy. When she would stir, I would just put my arm in the bassinet so she knew I was beside her. It got better as she got a bit older. Just keep trying. Good luck!
