How to get rid of craddle cap?

She had craddle cap but we were able to get rid of it with baby oil and now she just has very BAD dry skin. Well now the craddle cap is behind both ears?!! HELP it looks painful behind her ear.

we got craddle cap care for my little girl they sell it at walmart. it took a couple of weeks for it to go away but it worked great!!!! hope it might help :)

I am a hairdresser and when my daughter got it I used the tea tree shampoo and hair and body moisturizer by Paul Mitchell you have to be very careful not to get it in her eyes but with a small tooth comb it comes right out and the hair and body moisturizer helped keep it from coming back

My doctor suggested I use just regular olive oil to treat cradle cap because she has had a lot of infants break out in rashes from the chemicals and scents in the baby oil.



I agree with Jennifer that a doctor should look at it incase it's something severe. If it is cradle cap being stubborn I really recomend using just the plain olive oil it worked for my Son.

it sounds to me like eczema both my boys suffer, start by moisterising it twice a day with e45 or aqurious if it hasnt cleared up in a couple of days take her to see a nurse & they may put her on antibiotics or a steroid treatment
