My daughter get cradle cap every time I bathe her. I make sure I rinse her hair really good but yet she still gets it. What can I use to get rid of it?

there is an actual cradle cap shampoo. its at Wal Mart in the baby section with the toys and diapers and such. it has winnie the pooh on the front of it.

it works great, but you have to use it a few times, and scrup the scalp while its in,then rinse.

it will leave their hair a little oily but it works SO MUCH BETTER than baby oil. my daughter had cradle cap for 2 years(no exageration),and i tried everything you can think of.

that cradle cap shampoo worked though.

or you can talk to your pediatrician about it and they can prescrible some medicated shampoo.(i tried that too).

good luck!

If you don't have the little soft scrubber from the hospital, one of the soft bristled baby bushes will work. Use that while you're shampooing and rinse with a washcloth. That is the gentlest way to get rid of it.

Did your hospital give you a little soft scrubber to use on her head during baths???? A wash cloth should do about the same trick. You just need to exfoliate the skin, gently.

I'm not sure if that will get rid of it, it might, I know that's how to prevent theory it should clear it up too. Good Luck!!
