How to get your one month old to sleep in a crib or bassinet?

My one month old hates sleeping in his crib or bassinet and will only sleep on top of you, in bed with you, in the swing basically everywhere but his crib or small bassinet we bought. Our bed is to small to not worry about rolling over him so we've had a lot of sleepless nights. Any tips?

I know what you are going through my son was the same when he was first born. Try putting a clean shirt sprayed with your perfume in the crib or bassinet with him. it will help him relax. Have you tried a womb sound bear? my son liked this also. hope this helps.

try wrapping him tight in a muslin cloth for babies and putting a hot water bottle in there first to make it warm and cosy. Babies love sleeping tight just like inside of you. even a ticking clock is good too in the room.
