I ended up being an extreme over producer so be careful but when I needed to produce more milk I pumped first and then breastfed and I did that almost exactly every 3 hours. If your child sleeps for 6 hours you still get yourself up and pump. I am still breastfeeding at 6 Months and produce at least 30 ounces plus of breastmilk a day now. Being an over producer however is a challenge as you really need to keep on top of things or you get an infection. I would take a moment to really assess how much you actually need to produce.

Hot drinks help a lot .. Coffee is great, anything hot really helps.. What worked for me too was, I encapsulated my placenta and it helped 100% for me with milk production, postpartum depression, energy , everything in general .. I call them my happy pills lol .. So next time (if there is a next time) I highly recommend it.. Wish you the best! ;)
