Which brand do you think is better for leak protection, especially overnight & for very active babies?

lol i hate huggies and LOVE pampers. we tried both on both our kids, and huggies always leeked out the back and even the huggies wipes suck!! they are TOO thick and don't pull apart when u pull them out of the dispenser!!

Pampers have always been great for us and the kids loved holding the diapers and looking at the sesame street characters!! oooooh who's it gona be this time??? LOL. cookie monster was the fave ♥

pampers never leaked and the wipes are perfect.

Luvs is actually a really great brand. i thought i was only going to buy Huggies but i wasnt going to tell my mom to buy the "expenive" brands. She bought luvs and we never have a leakage problem and they are fine for senistive skin (our daughter got awful daiper rash from other, cheaper diapers). we still buy huggies (and pamper overnights), but will buy and use luvs just as often.

I use on off brand during the day, but my son leaked at night. I bought the huggies overnights and they are incredible!!

I really like huggies the best. Pampers seem to seep through the outer covering especially at night. Huggies also have the quilting on the cover that is softer than Pampers. My daughter is 2 now and we tried all different types and huggies is by far my favorite. I just had a baby 2 weeks ago and that is all I plan on using!

Size and weight of the child tend to be a great factor in the choice of Diapers...I personally have used Pampers Swaddlers on up for all 3 of my children and will with my new one when she arrives.

2 out of 3 of my children received severe rashes from Huggies and Luvs...that not even A&D ointment or Destin could cure. But once i switched back to Pampers their Rashes subsided and have not returned. I would say Chose what you feel suits you the most.

I used to love huggies but then the store was out of his size so I had to buy pampers. I love them soo much more. If your having a problem with leaking you could try getting then next size up. Then bigger the size the more pee it holds.

I found for my son that he broke out when using pampers and huggies didn't fit him right. We used luvs- cheaper and fit better.

Neither. I have used Huggies and Pampers, but I use the Kirkland Signature Brand diaper from Costco, and they work marvelously! (They are a Huggies diaper, if you look at them and compare one from the other the only difference is the print on the outside.).

I like how soft Pampers Snugglers are, but I have had some trouble with leaking with these. I have also tried Huggies, and they seem to work the best for my little guy.

I have an extremely active baby, she has been since she was in utero. I have had issues with huggies since day one...not sure if its the shape of my babies body or what but she would leak through them and have blow outs almost EVERYTIME!! I was skeptical using pampers because i heard the "gel" inside of them could irritate baby skin. This was not the case for my Daphnee. Pampers saved me from doing tons of laundry and giving countless baths. I am now a huge Pampers advocate. The only time she leaks is if she sleeps for more then 10 hours at night...even then a leak is rare. I never have blow outs anymore....dont know how i got lucky with that one. Oh and sometimes if she is super wet the little gel beads tend to spew out not alot but yea. I just wipe them off and she is fine.

My daughter has gotten really bad rashes from a lot of different brands, once we put her into huggies the rash went away! I won't buy anything else!

I reccommend FuzziBunz, My son leaked through every Huggies and off brand and Pamper's never contained his poop, everytime he needed a bath. And it's not as if we didn't change him, he wore atleast 8 diapers a day until he was potty trained. I have my own daycare and have talked parents in to using them on their kids, they hold in all messes. We use two inserts for heavy wetters and use the perfect fit, not the one size. I have used them from 6 week old babies up to a 4 and a half year old with special needs. Thay are amazing, no rashes, no leaks and you will save hundreds of dollars, maybe more depending on how long it takes your little one to potty train. Good Luck. www.FuzziBunz.com

Wow guys, i didn't expect such a turn out. I read all your comments & found them all helpful. I always used Huggies (except for when she was born cuz the hospital gave me tons of Pampers Swaddlers). I actually just put on a Pampers Baby Dry on my 12 month old (who sleeps through the night & pees A LOT) so we will see how i find her in the morning. I might try Luvs since a lot of you said Luvs & since I asked my mom what she used on me & she said she use to wash my diapers LOL but also used Luvs. She said i used to get bad rashes thats why she used cloth diapers but Luvs didnt give me a rash either.....Anyway THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOUR INPUT!

I like Pamper's Cruisers (and Swaddlers for smaller babies). I thought Huggies got bulkier when wet and I also thought you could smell the urine quicker through them. I used Luvs for awhile for my daughter but then she started to pee through them. Now she's potty trained and I don't have to worry about it, thank goodness! :)

Luvs holds the best for me. My son goes to bed around 9, wakes up in the morning still dry around 730 am. But I don't give them anything to drink at night either. But I've used loves on both my boys and they are awesome, and cheaper in price too.

I use pampers little movers. they are the best. i can put my daughter in one at about 10 at night and by about 6 in the morning she hasn't leaked through them. my daughter was allergic to huggies and evertime i would put her in one she would break out in a rash.

Huggies for sure! My son's skin is sensitive and huggies has always done the trick! He has never had a leak and now at age one he is very active.

i have tried huggies and papmers and my son has peed out of them both. My nephew also uses huggies and he is always pooping out his diapers. I choose LUVS they work great. I will not put anything else on my son. Try them they work wonders.

i tried pampers with my son, but he leaked every time he wore them! i huggies seems to work much better for him.

[deleted account]

actually we use luvs. our daughter is VERY active and luvs are the only brand we have found that dont leak. at night she doesnt wake up so by morning her diapers are usually pretty wet and she really never leaks with them, just when i dont make them tight enough, huggies and papmers she always leaks with. luvs might seem cheaper but they work great.

Well I thought pampers were better when they were first born because it fit them more and had pretty good absorbant... but then about month 4 I realized the Huggies ended up fitting better ( pampers leaked all the time) because they were bigger and fit their curves better and holds in alot! Had no leaks yet!! Hope this helped!
