We use a cool mist humidifier in our daughter's room and have since her first week of her life. We also use saline spray. I've been told to use Vick's Baby rub. Put it on her feet and then put socks on her. I've tried it, but not really sure it worked. If your daughter is 3 months or older, Johnson's has a vapor bath that my daughter LOVES. Just put a little bit in the bath water and it helps with the congestion.

We have a cool mist vaporizer in our son's room. It's like the humidifier but if puts out way more water into the air. It seems to work for our son. The warm mist humidifier that we used to have didn't work at all, compared to the vaporizer we just bought. Hope this helps!
