my daughter told us she no longer wanted to wear the pull ups.... we honestly didnt think she was ready but decided to go with it. instead of buying the bed covers we just put a bin liner cut in half over her matress and then put a towel over that then her bedding. we limited her drinks after tea and made her sit on the loo b4 bed. we lifted her when we went to bed. she was fine. we had a few accidents 1st thing in the morning where she was wet but that didnt last long...just try everything.... good luck

sticker charts are fun too - and they get excited when they get more stickers, and get a little treat or prize at the end of hte day or week!!

Cutting drinks is a good deal but with my girls it took a lot of talking to like telling them that they will be big girls and big girls get pretty undies and if they did this for a week or two that they could pick them out. Just remember that every kid is different.

I did the same as the other post, and it worked. My daughters 3 and she decided on her own to wear undies to bed 2 weeks ago and hasn't had one accident. I just did the cut drinks, go potty before bed and when she gets up. We make a BIG deal of her not having accidents and it encourages her not to have any. Good luck!

Cut the drinks an hour and a half to two hours before bedtime (if you absolutely have to give them anything to drink, just a sip or two) I get my kids on the toilet right after supper (around 5 ish) and they all go to the toilet right before they are laid into bed. In the morning, i wake them or (if they are awake) i put them immediatly on the toilet again. If they are still peeing in the night after a week to two or three -- then you might have to wake them in the middle of the night to go pee - and then they will be dry for the rest of the night (i had to do this with my first oldest - it sucked for me having to get up - but you go with the flow, and then they get it) Good luck!
