I have a 2 and 3 yr old. they do share a bedroom cuz we only live in a 2 bedroom apt. I cant for the life of me get them to go to bed at a normal time anymore. every night is a huge fight and usually ends with me in tears completly stressed out! I have tried cutting out naps I have tried making naps earlier and shorter. I have tried seperating them and putting the 2 yr old down first nothing works. I need help!!!!!! Its like they tag team me.

Supernanny has good techniques for this too, you should check out the show. I believe you can see some of the episodes on hulu.com and abc.com

i had the same prob my daughter would not want to go to sleep for anything then i decided to make a list activities to do through out the day and the rest of the week..and then i just found out out all you have to do is wear them out i wake up my daughter at 7am or 8am dependening on the day get her cleaned up and feed and then i start her day with something like arts and crafts, and then have a lil snack an break time, then for lunch go to the park and i have her run around for awhile and get all that energy out and play with other kids for awhile then go home and give her a bath and eat dinner and i bet your son would knock out in his bed...lolz

My boys did the same thing, they are 17 months apart. What I did was made a routine. Wash up, Pj's, Teeth, Story in their bed, hugs and kisses and told them about the day ahead of us so we needed our sleep. If they have a night time thing like a night light or door open sometimes you have to use that . Say that if they can't go to sleep that way, then you will take out the night light or close the door. It seems wrong but in the long run they need to sleep. And get into a good bedtime rutine before school comes up.

i know its hard but be strong....

whatever bed time you choose stick wth it.

read a story, or whatever you do to clam them down before bed make sure that they understand that after the story its sleep time take about half and hour to have quet tme before bed. try to not get to worked up once in bed let them go until they leave the room if they leave their room just quietly walk them back (rapid return) first two time was its bed time after that just calmly return them put dont say anything.. this is a process and you may return the alot but they will get the point. keep strong
