My son is 5 months old and is eating so sparatically that it is really hard to tell how much he is actually consuming in one day bc he is snacking. So I feel like I'm constantly feeding him and he's only cat napping bc he wakes up hungry. Any suggestions?

Issue 2 is that he is circumsized and I keep having to pull the skin back away from the head of his penis. I know it can't be comfortable for him for me to have to continuously do that. Are there any other tips to keeping the mushroom look other than keeping vasaline on it?

He has a very sensitive tummy. I have to mix half almintum and half total comfort. The TC keeps him from having acid reflux and the Almintum keeps him from getting constipated. That mixture took awhile to figure out! Lol also tried cereals at different times and it didn't make a difference and would constipate him. He eats a little baby food but still snacks.

He will eat 3 to 4oz wait an hour or so and want the rest not to mention how long it takes him to eat it and usually goes to sleep eating that. He finally pushed 2 teeth through so I thought it would possibly get better but it hasn't. Hopefully one day!!!

For the circumsized part I really don't know what to tell you to do. My son is 7 and still has that kind of problem. I took him to the Dr about it because with the way it was pushed up we were worried he needed re circumsized because it seemed he was the same size there since he was a baby. But Dr said that it looked like that because of the fat he has around the groin area. So that may could be the cause of it for your son as well. But he just told us to make sure to pull the skin back when using the bathroom and of course washing.

As for the feeding.....how is he fed? And what all do you give him. I know it veries with everyone. But if he's only on milk..... probably should give cereal in the milk or start it from the spoon and also baby food. Feeding them the "thicker" foods before naps and bed time will help tremendously because its more filling than just milk alone. All my kids were started on cereal in the bottle at 2 weeks and were started on baby food by 4-5 months. My last ones (twins) are now 10 months and no longer will get the baby food because they want the real deal that's more filling. A lot of specialists may discourage giving different things too early but on reality..... he's your son....they don't have to deal with wondering if he's eating enough. Being a mom is a trial and error thing. We can't always go by the book or we will be crazy! We just kind of have to use our own judgement. Good luck!
