I love my IUD. I have no periods and I never have to worry about taking anything, or condoms. And, I can have sex whenever I want too! There is one problem however. My husband swears that he can feel it. I know when you first get it the strings that are attached are supposed to feel sort of like fishing line, but wear down over time, well I have had mine for almost 2 years and he says it pokes him. Everyone I have spoken to that has one does not have this problem. I was wondering if any of you knew anyone or did have this problem. It has gotten so bad that my husband tells me that we would have sex more often if I didn't have it. (By the way I really enjoy sex, and would LOVE to have more). So advice please....I really need it!!!

i had one and had the same problem. DH actually would get cut. Just go in they can trim it for you. Also, he may be able to feel it less in different positions.

I would definitely check with your doctor it may not be in correctly which means you could get preggo!

this happened to my husband VERY EARLY on after i got my IUD put in. it poked him,and he said he wouldnt have sex with me! :O

we waited for about a week then didnt have anymore problems...and havent since.

so it is possible he could feel it i guess? i would make an appt with the Gyno to see if it shifted or anything.
