He will only drink from a bottle. I tried cold turkey and everything. He screams ba ba ma ma. Then if I do go through out the day except for naps because he has to have a milk bottle at nap time then my husband gets home and thats the first thing he hands him. I give him sippys through out the day. I cant find one he really likes though. I am getting tired of washing Dr Brown bottles though. Help?

Nuk has a good one that has a latex nipple like the bottles and with my son, he didn't like sippy cups, but it was our breakthrough cup. It's no spill, but when I put it in his mouth if he just chewed on it I could kinda squeeze the nipple so that he got a taste of his juice or whatever and then he realized that he wanted that and sucked on it. We did have to do it everytime cuz babies forget, but it works pretty well. Here's a link if you need it to a pic of one:

It's BPA Free too. You might get that annoying pop up thing to do a survey...just close it. It won't hurt anything.

I switched my daughter to a sippy cup at 10 months old. I found one that had a top similar to a bottle. That was the only one she would take. The hard tops wouldn't work for her. She used the soft top ones for about two months then went to the hard top ones. She would have a bottle at night before bed until she was 11 months old then only sippy cups. I figured the only way to do it was to completely stop the bottle. Out of sight out of mind. She was thirsty so she would drink out of it. I wouldnt let them go any significant time without a drink. lol It took a little work on my part to not give in, but she transitioned well. Good Luck to U

The only sippy cup my son uses is from Nuby. We got them at Target. It a plastic nipple and you just bite it instead of sucking. Hope this helps.

There are sippy cups with a top kind of like a bottle. I havent tried them but i have seen them. My son prefers the kind with a straw.

My son is still on the bottle for baba at nap times. As long as he drinking something I figure why not? lol

I have found though that he actually perfers the sippies with straws than the ones that just have the tab. He also LOVES to drink out of a water bottle. He will carry my gigantic water bottle full of ice water around all day drinking out of it!

Good luck!
