If you want your children to be that specifically spaced, I would suggest a barrier method of birth control instead of a hormonal method. The pill and stuff like that can take various amounts of time to actually fully leave the system.
For example, I was on the pill for about 6 years when I was young (not to prevent pregnancy, but to help with regularity and with acne :P) and it took over 2 years after I got off it to see any kind of regularity come back to my cycle (when I say it was irregular for those 2 years, I mean REALLY irregular. I only had 3-4 periods total in just over 2 years).
A barrier method on the other hand, can be stopped at any time with no waiting required.

That being said, no form of contraceptive is 100%, so there is a chance that you may conceive earlier than your expected deadline, and it's also possible that you may have some difficulty conceiving right when you want to and may end up having a child later than you want to.
