Both of my girls were two-two and a half, and we never hid going to the bathroom from them, they both "wanted" to go. Neither liked the potty chair, so we got small stools that they could use to go on the big potty. They got an M&M if they had to be asked to go and did, and they got a bigger treat if they decided to go and "actually" went! Good luck, your little one will know when it's time!

"Elmo goes Potty" movie, read fun books about using the potty, it helped when my daughter started going to daycare and saw all the children taking turns using the potty

And don't let her watch daddy or sons, the other day she saw her 3 year old uncle pee outside and next thing you know she was pulling down her pants and sticking her pelvis out saying me pee me pee

I put my daughter's potty chair in the bathroom when she was 18 months and just let her get used to it. She watches us go potty at home and at stores(mom, sissy and auntie) she likes to sit on the potty and wipe. She's only gone a few times, but I also haven't pushed her. The best time is right after nap, if you catch her early enough she hasn't gone yet, that is if she stays dry through nap. We also just read about putting food coloring in the water, blue, cause when they pee on it, it turns green. Hope that helps. ( My daughter won't be 2 for 2 weeks)
