I'm 20 weeks pregnant and my baby kicks mostly on the right side. At my first scan I was told my placenta is right lateral could this be the reason why?

You need to speak with your doctor about this since he is the expert in the field.

It's likely because of how your baby is positioned in your belly. The placenta can move as your uterus grows so if the scan was a while ago, it could be in a different spot.

My baby was always LOA and usually kicking on the right side. Also, I thought I felt kicking way down low, turns out she was born with her little hand next to her face!

At 20 weeks there is still a lot of room for baby to move around in there, he/she could stay in the same position or move around.
