I'm having a hard time breaking my 15 month old from her bottle. Her doctor says she needs to be drinking out of a cup by 18 months. The thing is she does drink water and juice out of a sippy cup and refuses the milk in it? Any suggestions? Do you think the bottle is just a comfort thing for her?

Throw the bottles in the garbage. If you do not have them, you can't give them to her. It won't be long before she drinks her milk from the cup.

Thanks so far it's not going as planned. We made progress though she will start to drink out of her cup for a little bit then completely refuse it. My doc said to start filling her bottles half with water and continue to add water and then give her cup with milk and she will eventually just ditch the bottle because it won't taste as good. So I'm trying that. I have been telling her the bottle fairy is coming to take her bottles away cause she is a Big girl now! If I don't see any progress with the advice the doc gave me the bottles will just disappear!!

Good luck Megan. The first 2-3 days may be difficult, but it will get much better after that.
