my name is Linda. A deaf SAHM to almost 3 years old boy named Dezmond and another boy on the way, Zion, Sept 4th via c section!! I enjoy being around Dezmond. He makes my life worth living. I taught him how to sign when he was about 6 months old, his first sign was .. sleep!! LOL. But he picks up fast and for that, I'm grateful!!

what does SAHM mean?? I read that you taught your son sign language that is so awesome. I did the same thing except that nor I or Stephen is deaf. I had a friend when I was young who was deaf and she taught me the alphabet and now I am taking ASL at IU. I loved it when my son was learning sign to explain to me what he wants. I am trying to continue teaching him so he will be prepared if ever need to use it. I have met several wonderful people who were deaf and I love being able to communicate with them. It is nice to meet you if you ever want to talk or need some advice let me know. I am not the best but I love to help if I can. Nice to have you here Linda.
