Hi to every one, I am going to be 24 this year and i am a mother of two. I have a fun and exaughsting 2 year old little girl and a pressious one month old baby girl. Their father and i are not married yet but we plan on it soon when the money is right. Raising two kids is not cheap at all so we figure they come first and when the time is right it will happen. It is not easy being a mom but i would not trade it for anything. From time to time I tend to feel like " well where is my ME time" I kind of miss just being able to do anything when ever and not having to plan things out and pack a bag before we leave. Does it seem wrong to think like that ? Does anyone else ever feel like this? I am also away from home, I moved to NC about 4 years ago and don't really have anyone here for support so hopefully this will site will help out a little just to get stuff off my mind and get opinions from other moms.

Well, Welcome! I am new too, this is my first day to the group and to Circle of Moms all together. I know exactly how you feel. I moved away from my family right before having my first child and knew no one. It was very lonely at first, but I had to depend on God to pull me through. You just have to get out there. Thank God, I'm a very sociable person. I started introducing myself to neighbors and joined a community stay at home mom group. I had a great church family as well. We actually just moved back home just 3 weeks ago and I love it. I missed my family and friends so much! Being a mom is the hardest job in the world, but also the most rewarding! Don't expect yourself to be perfect, especially when you don't have help and get you time. It's normal to feel stressed and alone from time to time. It's life, you just have to know your limits and ask for help. When you feel yourself getting stressed, get a babysitter or lay your kids down for a nap and read a book, take a bubble bath or a nap. Make sure to have your children on a good sleep schedule and after they get to bed, make time for you and your husband. If you believe in prayer, it really does work! Take time each morning to pray for patience, love, strength, understanding, and a calm spirit. It really makes a big difference! If you ever need to talk, feel free to message me!
