So I have joint custody of my daughter, as she gets older obviously things are changing like she needs to have less bottles a day and eat more solid foods etc, Well when shes at her fathers place for a couple days he starts things with her and he doesnt let me know about them and he doesnt even discuss anything with me on how we should do things. Ive asked him many times to not leave me out of her life like that, How can I make him comunicate with me?

I don't have a for sure way to change this but maybe a little notebook in her bag will help some - you can jot down new things she's tried or other things that happens with her when she is with you so dad can update himself and ask him to do the same... You can use the excuse that you don't know what she has eaten or done when she is with him so if god forbid something happen while she is with you and the dr asks did she eat anything new you'll know or if something changes with her behaivior and the dr's asks did she have a fall or something you'll know so that way you and others can know what to look for in case of an emergency.. Same goes for dad too he should know in case of an emergency also.. This will work also as she gets older it can serve as a communication line between you too with everything from school to punishments to puberty... I don't know that it will definetly work but it's worth a try... Good Luck and maybe someone with more experince with this can help you more :)
