My daughter is in the first grade and seems to have a problem with a girl in her class. She is always talking to my daughter when the teacher is talking, picking her up in line. My daughter has told her ti stop and has even told her teacher. But it seems that my daughter is the only one who seems to get into trouble, 3, 4, or even 5 says a week. I am VERY CLOSE to pulling my daughter out of school and start homeschooling her if the teacher does not help me out. I wrote her a 2 page note, we'll see what she says. Am I over reacting? Any anvice? PLEASE HELP!

Yes, we have a metting planned for tomorrow before school. I called her at home to haveba talk with her about my concerns (she wants parents to do that) and she now sees things differently. I hope that we can all fix this together. Thanks so much for advice!

Have you had a meeting with the teacher and the principal? Just writing a letter won't get things done but make an appointment to see the principal and request that her teacher be there as well.
Bring up your concerns and don't leave until a plan has been discussed and options to put it into place. Have an idea of what you would like outcome to be as well.
