My Goddaughter was born on March 1st she was taking C-section put on Similac advance with iron two days later they switched her in the hospital to fussiness and gas, without talking to her mother about it, we started to notice after the change that she was eating more and having a lot of gas with the formula, so the doctor switched her to soy, she wouldn't sleep she will sleep from midnight to about 2 am then up again at 4 am and 8 am then she will not sleep through out the day she will take a 5 minute cat nap and then scream the entire time, the doctor put her back onto the fussiness and gas formula and says she does not have colic or acid reflux but she always acts like she is either thirsty or hungry, she won't take a pacifier they are to big for her suck on. We have tried rocking, walking, laying her on her belly, car rides, just about everything you can think of, if anyone could suggest anything that you think might I will let my friends know and also try on my god daughter when I have her. Thank you.

Try using Bio Gaia it is available over the counter at any pharmacy. My LO was gassy and constipated since babies digestive systems are very weak when they are first born. This did miracles for us! Also the rule for feeding formula or breast milk (much harder to measure) is 2.5 times the babies weight in pounds.

For Example: 10lbs x 2.5 = 25 Oz required per day.
