Given you also posted about trying to get your life back on track after birth, I am assuming your baby is young. You shouldn't be giving your baby goats milk if he is under 1 year old. If your breastmilk supply is low, you can either talk to a lactation consultant (there are ways of increasing supply) or find a formula that works for him.

I just want to encourage you if you're having low milk supply issues not to give up breastfeeding. You could talk to a lactation consultant if you have access to one but one of the reasons for low milk supply is because of nursing too frequently for too short a time. I highly recommend the book “Babywise” by garry ezzo. Your milk is the best thing for your baby. I did do some goats milk with my first two babies after 1 year and they didn't have any problems with it. http://www.modernhomemakers.com

Yes, you can try goat's milk. You should not give a child milk until after their first birthday.
