is it normal to start morning sickness at 3weeks pregnant? feel your baby move at 11-12 weeks? see your baby move at 22weeks? the midwives just give me a fowl look when i tell them at each stage but never say anything. should i be worried?

I think the midwife has just been in the profession too long; sad she can't share your excitement with you. Maybe she needs a vacation..?? LOL

:) congrats

im not that worried i just believe that i am further along than what a 30second dating scan said but i dont seem to be listened to even if i do ask for another dating scan, when it comes to speaking to my midwife the question is which 1 do i talk to as i have had 3 appointments with 4 different midwifes. at 24weeks i measured just over 27cm. they say i am 27weeks now. the baby is fine moving constently n growing well. what i am worried about is going into labour really early (as i have read that u dont normally feel/see baby move till 5weeks later than what i have) and they try to stop the labour.

I don't think your abnormal or should be worried if you are measuring correctly and that the baby's heartbeat is regular for whatever trimester you're in. Every pregnancy is different and what one mother may think is normal might not necessarily be true for another. It is also possible, unless you've had a very accurate ultrasound, that you are further along than they may think. As to your midwives expressions....I loved my midwives, but if I felt for one moment that they were not onboard with being 100% supportive throught my ENTIRE pregnancy, I would have moved on in a heartbeat! They are just midwives. I'm not saying they are not knowledgable and could have lots of experience, but an OB/GYN has ALOT more schooling and may be better able to serve you. Hope I was able to help a little. Best of luck to you ;)

Dont be worried hun, if your midwife was concerend she would tell u or send u to dr or for more tests etc. I had morning sickness from 3 weeks, i found out at 5 weeks and then realised why i felt so sick lol,

Often midwifes are sceptical about us mums feeling baby move early etc. They learn from a text book and may have experience with their own children and their work experiences but every pregnancy is different. She prob doesn't believe you but who cares! u are so lucky to feel ur baby so early and feel that connection so early, take no notice she prob has just never heard of it so early. Some women are more intune with their pregnancy then others.

But if u are worried speak to your midwife and ask her if u should be concerned! don't take no for an answer if u feel something is wrong. but if u feel good and the preg. seems to be going normal (except for early movements) just relax and enjoy it x x x
