Is it normal for my daughter to go into screaming fits wanting me and her daddie?

My 4 month old daughter at certain times or when something happens alway screams for me or my husband.. I wanted to know how to deal with this because it's like we can't leave her side for anything...

My son is 22 months now and he goes in and out of this behavior. Get used to being stunned, frustrated and confused by your child's behavior. I too am a first time mom and I feel ya! My guilt over his separation anxiety phase was multiplied by the fact that we moved awhile back and that seemed to throw him off for a while too. Now my husband goes away to school intensive weeks once a semester and my son, who I'm sure still loves me, goes through severe daddy withdrawal...and it can be ugly sometimes. I try to tell myself that times of separation from my son are needed and healthy for both of us, especially b/c I am a stay-at-home mom, and that usually helps me when he throws a good fit at the sitter's or nursery door. Ahhhh motherhood...such an emotional roller coaster!

Thank you so much for sending me that link... it helped alot.. Now I don't feel like that something is wrong... I'm a first time mother and sometimes I just plain don't know what to do when she acts a certain way...
