My 9 month old son has been sick for 2 month now with a cough, runny nose, crying A LOT non-stop, high fever anywhere between 102-103 at least once or twice a week, and his heart beats really fast. i recently took him to the dr for the 3rd time and they finally gave me antibiotics for him because he had fluid in his ears. so that actually helped take away the cough and runny nose. but he is still getting the high fevers and last night he woke up sweating really really bad {like dripping down his face}, his heart was pounding FAST, he started to cry really bad, breathing really fast and hard and had a fever of 103. can any one give me ANY kind of advice! is this normal, has this happened to other mommies, should i be concerned? trust me ladies any advice will be really helpful to me right now as you can tell im a bit concerned!!

How long ago was he at the doctor. If he has been on antibiotics for longer than 2 days, it should be starting to help, he shouldn't still be getting fevers. I think you need to go back. This doesn't sound normal at all.

He has been on antibiotics for 10 days now and I ended up taking him to the er yesterday and they said he looks perfectly fine and just has a throat infection that will go away on it's own but gave me nothing for it cuz he said it's a virus. I don't think that's all that's wrong with him but how do I argue three different Dr when they r all saying the sane thing?! It's very frustrating!! All I can do now I guess is just hope he gets better soon!!
