Hi everyone, I'm just wondering if it is normal to have cramps and some pain in your lower pelvis or could it be a serious problem. People have told me its just "growing pains" but im just not sure. Its our first baby so everything is very new. Just wondering if anyone else has had this?
Thanks Tammy

That just depends on what you call "abnormal pains". Is the pain like...unbearable? Or is it just kind of and annoying ache? If it's unbearable, you need to go to the ER. Especially if you're bleeding or leaking any fluids. If it's just something that's annoying and achey, chances are it's just tendons pulling and your muscles getting ready for the weight of the baby you're about to be carying around. You could also call your Doctor in the morning and see what they think and make an appointment if you think you should. Hope I helped, hun.

Every pregnancy is different. I've had cramping, lower back pain and on/off bleeding throughout this pregnancy (my 2nd) and have had several ultrasounds and everything has always been fine. I would mention it to your doctor, but it's probably nothing to worry about

u do get aches and pains as your body adjusts. listen to your body though u'll know if there is something wrong. to me it does't sound like a misscarrage unless it follows with bad back pain and bleeding. i have had 3 before i had my son. i'm confident it sounds like your body getting ready.... hope you enjoy your pregnancy!~
