I'm pregnant and I don't want to risk anything!
I just have been really sick. I have this horrible sore throat and stuffy nose. I just want it to be gone, but than again don't want to risk anything if it's bad for you.

Honey is 100%okay when pregnant- it's that you can not give a child under 1 honey because of C bontillium spores that can't be digested by babies. But you filter this out. Absolutely use a honey and lemon tea for your sore throat- I highly reccomend a hot water base, a tablespoon each of honey, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. Also, salt water gargles work WONDERS. you can also safely take cepocol lozenges. Feel better Mama!

Thanks Michelle but I'm not buying tea. I was going to make my own with lemon juice and honey but someone told me honey is bad to have while being pregnant.

Someone just told me that I need to be careful with honey when being pregnant. I wasn't quite getting why I should be careful unless honey is bad for you. Is it?

Just make sure you use a non caffeinated tea and it will be fine, I drank tea right through both of my pregnancies and both of my kids are quite healthy
