Is it to late to do exercise to improve loose belly skin?

Hi, I am a mom of 4 year old. I am 5"4 and weighed 114lb. I couldn't do exercise after my son was born until a month ago i found the right birth control pill which stopped me from virginal bleeding after exercise. So, i started to exercise, i hate my loose belly skin, esp. every part of my body is right size except the belly, i am just wondering is it too late to get these flat belly back? Does anyone have similar experience? I had a 10.7 lb baby, so my belly skin is just gross to look at.

No it's never too late!! I was working out a couple months after having my son (via c-section...he was 9lbs!), but have since had to take a step back because the gym in our apt complex is being totally renovated and they still aren't done! :( However, everyday I at least do an ab workout in my home just to stay somewhat in shape. I got up to 190 lbs at my highest during my pregnancy and have since lost almost 50 pounds; however, I've still got about 20 lbs to go to get back to my pre-baby weight. It's very frustrating because like you, I also have a bit of that embarrassing belly fat/loose belly skin. I would recommend that you do lots of cardio--the cardio will speed up how quickly you lose the weight as that's how you burn the most calories. Also do ab workouts and weight training. And playing/running around with your toddler will help, too! I can't wait until I can get to the gym again and go on strolls again with our son once the weather gets nice! Keep a decently healthy diet, too. Hope this helps and good luck!!

it's never too late! I have a friend who started working out 8 years after her son was born (via csection) and she was able to get her flat stomach back after all that time. she had a 8lb+ baby and was a size 14 before her workout journey. she got herself down to a size 2 just from consistently working out and eating healthy. she is def my inspiration to get my body back after this pregnancy!

Thank you very much, Amy. Your message is very encouraging. I currently do about 45 mins ab workout daily, and i can see the loose muscle on my back around the waist gets tight now. I hope i can finally go back to pre-baby body.

I have similar experience with trying to tighten and tone my skin after having my baby. Ive tried Jillian Michaels workouts and diets which have helped me lose weight but havent helped tighten up my belly which is my biggest problem. I tried It Works body wraps and they are phenomenal! I saw a difference immediately! i just became an independent distributor for them and i would be more than happy to give you my website and facebook page so you can see before and after pictures of myself and other people who have used them!
