I made a suggested gift list and sent it out with the invitations. It had a picture and the name of the item. Of course she got things that weren't on the list, but it gives people an idea of what you're looking for in toys and clothes.

I don't think its wrong, I don't mind when other ppl do, but I personally wouldn't. I think its okay for weddings and baby showers and such but I wouldn't for anything else. Just me :)

I dont think its wrong, its just like giving them a list of things that your son is interested in, but doesnt have and saves you time of having to return things and hurt feelings on duplicate items.

you might want to try Kaboodle.com I use this site for my kids birthdays as well as for their Christmas lists. It's a great site because you can add items from any website/ store that you want to. And no it's not wrong to register.
