Madison,

You are very welcome! I'm not sure what your asking in your last question. The library program Bouncing Babies is for infant and caregiver. The library also has specific programs for one-year olds and two-year olds (Wonderful Ones and Tuneful Twos). I made it through all three of those programs with my two oldest children before we moved, and they loved them. The Play-n-Learn part of the Y has the infants separated from the bigger kids, although they do share a large room. BloomingMoms has a separate room for each group of kids from Infant up to Homeschool age kids, but you can keep your baby with you during the meetings if you want to. I hope that helps!

Madison,

I highly recommend you check out BloomingMoms http://bloomingmoms.org/ I like this group very much, and there are lots of moms there with children of all ages. There is free childcare if you wish to use it, but you don't have to if you'd like to keep your little one with you. I also highly recommend the Monroe County Public Library. They have great programs starting with the Bouncing Babies, and it meets the first Wednesday of the month. You do have to register for those programs, but I met a lot of moms at the library programs with the same age kids as mine. I also enjoyed the YMCA and their Play-n-Learn center for kiddos. It's hard to be in a new place and be a SAHM. I found it very nice to be a SAHM in Bloomington for four years, and I hope you do too.

Hi! I live in the northwest part of Bloomington. I've got a daughter that's almost three (and a five-year old girl and 10 month old son). The Monroe County Library has a great children's area and we go there every Wednesday. I'm also part of a mom's group called BloomingMoms that meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. I do have transportation right now so I'd be happy to meet up with you sometime.

Heh we go to Barnes and Noble so much because it is very bus-able. I haven't had a car since 2004. You can get close via the route 3, 9, or 6 buses. Since we live near downtown, we walk to the library a few times/ week too. The play area is really nice since the remodel. I think there are scheduled things there as well but we just pop in and get whatever we find.

I have heard about the reading time at Barnes and Noble but haven't made it out there yet. I don't have a car right now so it makes things a little bit harder. In April Aiden is going to start T Ball so hopefully that will help out some too. But I will definitely check into BABS.

I am in Bloomington,IN. I have a three year old daughter. Have you gone to BABS (bloomington area birth services?)- they have toddler play time, family yoga, and tons of other fun stuff. Phoebe and I go to the Y a lot- the Play and Learn is pretty sweet. The kiddie area at Barnes and Noble is a hotbed for kids too- Wednesday's at 11 is story time.
