It has been 34 degrees celsius (I live in Mission British Columbia) and has been so hot that no one in my house wants to move because the second you do sweat pores from all of us. I have gone to every store I can think of that would have an air conditioner or to buy fans but no luck they are all sold out!

My poor little girl just cannot go to sleep. Last night she finally fell asleep at midnight and I had to let her cry a little bit.

I have a fan right in front of her crib, I have tried cold baths throughout the day. I am at a loss as to how to keep her cool enough to go to sleep.

Any ideas would be really helpful.

With humidity it is 47 degrees. I have all of the windows covered in her room and have the fan directly on her mattress but it is just so hot. It was 30 at midnight last night!

I think I am just going to have to go to a different city and try and find an air conditioner.

I'm sorry :( I would try my best to make sure to keep her room as dark as possible during the day (put a blanket over the window if need be, to keep the sun from heating things up) but I'm not sure that will help any tonight. Also, maybe try having her sleep in just a diaper and light blanket (if you use one). And also, during the day have the fan blow directly on her mattress to try and have it cool enough for when it's time for bed. But again, that idea won't help for tonight. *hugs*
