Just moved to Everett WA, and would like to have some friends

I am new to the Everett/Silver Lake vicinity and don't have any friends yet. It is a bit tough because my hubby and I share a car so while he is at work I am limited to whatever is in walking/biking distance from my home. Here are some of the things that I am interested in: walking, hiking, cross-country skiing(tho not much w/ a 6mo), crochet, painting, art of any kind, making pottery, reading, playing with dogs(mine died before we moved :( ), of course playing with my LO, learning baby sign language, cloth diapering, attachment parenting, eating as healthily as I can(though i dont always succeed), watching bollywood films, dancing, taking pictures, talking to my friends back home on the phone, learning other languages (majoring in french but took time off to have baby and regain motivation to go back to school), baking, cooking, making things from scratch, trying new recipes, being a stay at home mom who is available to my child always, being in nature...

If you read this and it seems like we share some commonalities feel free to send me a note!

Thanks :)

Yes, you're a stay-home Mom!!!! Not many want to do this these days. Don't ever let anyone make you think you are not worthy for doing this. If you believe in God(Jesus Christ) , find a church. You'll receive encouragement and find women who share your interests in being at home. We've had to make do with one vehicle before. It'll be o.k. It is worth giving up things for a precious little life. No baby sitter can love your baby the way you do. Look for stay-home Mom groups that feel as you do. Get to know them and invite each other over with the children. You'll start feeling so alone if you don't have that support with no family or friends there.

A chicken recipe: rub chicken breasts with mayo ( can use low-fat) , dip in any kind of those canned bread crumbs( that are seasoned). Bake til chicken is done. Maybe an hr. or so. My bunch loves it. Always, straighten house right before hubby comes home. Always, keep yourself sort of fixed up for him to come home too also. That helps the marriage. Do enjoy every moment with the baby and then toddler. You won't regret this!!!
